Calvin Bijou was appointed to NIPDEC’s Board on November 16, 2020.

Calvin Bijou is the Managing Director and Principal Facilitator of em2. He is the founder of this innovative management consultancy, based in Trinidad and Tobago, which focuses on The Human Side of Change.

Calvin brings twenty- seven years experience in the financial services sector. He has worked with CIBC, Citigroup, RBC/RBTT in several key executive positions. Some of his recent Caribbean wide portfolios included: Head, Products &Marketing Strategy, Channels, Customer Experience. He also held accountability for Pricing, Product Risk Review and Insurance Operations. He is the architect of the Life Stage Approach to RBTT/RBC Caribbean and has been instrumental in the business model designs for the Consumer, Commercial and Corporate Segments.
He served five years on MasterCard’s International Advisory Board for the Latin American and Caribbean corridor.

He is an internationally certified Transition and Change Management Facilitator with William Bridges, as well as a qualified facilitator for Who Moved My Cheese Workshop. Calvin is also a passionate motivational /  keynote speaker.

Apart from being a certified facilitator, he is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (Business Studies), as well as an accredited Certified Financial Planner. He is also a former lecturer at the Roytec Institute.

He brings a compelling blend of strategic accountability, track record of success in sales and marketing innovation, effective sales force management and stirring motivation. He is a highly creative and innovative mind.
