Job Objective:
To serve as a direct point of contact for customers and for ensure that customers at Central Stores receive an adequate level of service and assistance with their questions and concerns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with customers to provide information to enquiries on the status of orders, the availability of stock, despatch schedule and resolve complaints.
- Communicate with customers via telephone, email, fax, regular mail.
- Respond to routine questions and requests.
- Conduct research at various operational/departmental levels to provide further explanation to customers in instances of delivery discrepancies, non receipt of requisition and/or goods.
- Follow established company guidelines to manage customers’ complaints.
- Follow up with individual customers or institutions until a question is answered or an issue is resolved.
- Perform any other related duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) O’ Level Subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar position.
- Any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
Special Skills and Knowledge:
- Effectively resolve issues regarding purchases and delivery of merchandise with suppliers and customers
- Ability to work well under various stressful situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with coworkers and pharmaceutical suppliers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and perform duties in a professional manner with minimum of supervision.
- Requires great articulation and pronunciation, friendly and outgoing phone voice.
- Must have a great attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates.
