The CDAP programme has been expended to all citizens of Trinidad & Tobago. CDAP allows you to receive free prescription drugs in the treatment of Diabetes, Hypertension and other cardiac Diseases, Glaucoma, Asthma, Arthritis, Depression & Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (Enlarged Prostate).

To ensure that you get timely service from CDAP always remember:
Persons over 18, please walk with your National Identification Card when you visit your doctor or clinic.
For children (18 years or younger), the new computerised Birth Certificate (which provides a unique personal identification number (PIN) should be presented.
Once a prescription is required, the doctor will fill out three (3) copies of the CDAP prescription form.
The doctor will keep one copy and give you the other two (2) copies. Take both copies along with your ID to the pharmacy. The person who is picking up the prescription must walk with his/her ID and the patient’s ID.
